CEDARhouse

The CEDARhouse is our smallest design in the Modern Forest Series at 1,700 s.f. Beautiful stained cedar exterior walls extend inside the house to Teragren wall panels for an abundance of interior woodwork. The entry foyer is a nature lover’s dream, with large windows looking out to the reflecting pool at the front of the house and windows ahead leading into the family room.
An Eco Fuel fireplace is recessed into the chestnut colored wood walls, and the Kemiko stained concrete floors, with their mottled natural stone appearance, juxtapose nicely against the woodwork. The large family room has plenty of seating areas as well as a built-in bookcase and desk. Other than the wall panel for the fireplace and television, the exterior walls are primarily glass, providing excellent views to the outdoors. The very large roof overhang is an architectural feature that provides sun shading during hot summer months while allowing winter sun to penetrate to the interior rooms for passive solar heating.
The kitchen has beautiful environmentally friendly cabinetry by Aya, topped with ECO by Cosentino countertops. The dining area has stacked stone exterior walls and a large picture window framing the view to the outdoors.
CEDARhouse has a master on the main level with french doors leading to a north facing private garden, and a large master bath with a Kohler digital showering system. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs, each with french doors leading to the rooftop deck. A modular green grid roofing system means growing areas can easily be relocated on the roof to allow for customization of outdoor seating areas.
