Energy Star
We are an Energy Star Partner and every SUSTAIN house plan we sell will carry the “Designed to Earn the Energy Star” seal.  Each of our Green and Sustainable home plans has been independently reviewed and verified to include energy-saving features and construction practices that will result in a home that is 20–30 percent more energy efficient than a standard home.

US Green Building Council
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that certifies sustainable businesses, homes, hospitals, schools, and neighborhoods. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™.

Green Chamber of the South
Founded in 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia, the Green Chamber of the South supports the growth and success of sustainability in businesses and encourages innovation and adoption of clean technology. We are a non-profit organization.

The Green Chamber of Commerce facilitates connections and collaboration between companies, government, NGOs and the community, supporting the growth of green companies. Our vision facilitates the success and growth of green businesses and establishes a hub for green commerce in the Southeast.

Southface Energy Institute
Southface is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. With a longstanding reputation for providing sound environmental education and outreach programs, Southface has been recognized for excellence by the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, American Institute of Architects, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, Georgia Environmental Council, Earth Share of Georgia and numerous other industry and community organizations. Southface began as a grassroots organization, and memberships and sponsorships continue to support our efforts.

Southface has spent more than a quarter of a century showing architects, builders, homeowners, renters and others easy ways to save energy, conserve water and protect our natural resources. Our programs and technical services are based on sound science and reach about 40,000 people each year.
