WILLOWhouse

Like the namesake willow tree, the WILLOWhouse shares a connection with water from the moment you walk in the door.  Entering the foyer either through the front door, or from the garage you will be looking through a picture window to the cascading waterfall just outside.   The water feature is made possible by a recirculating pump fed by the house’s rainwater collection system.  A reflecting pool runs along the side of the house, extending down the foyer and across the exterior wall of the expansive family room.   The house has stained concrete floors by Kemiko as a standard, with optional wood floors.  The kitchen opens into the family room and is meant for entertaining.  As with all our houses the cooktop is positioned in the “island” area, which means you can interact with friends and family while cooking instead of facing a wall.  Eco by Cosentino countertops juxtapose beautifully against the dark wood Aya cabinetry.  Energy Star appliances help you save on power bills, as do the recessed light fixtures.  All of the recessed lighting in the house operates off LED bulbs that are designed to fit a standard MR16 socket.  With average use these lightbulbs should last for 20 years, so changing bulbs in the WILLOWhouse will be a thing of the past.  The exterior of the family room has a ventless ECO fuel fireplace recessed into the wall with connections for a flat panel television and equipment recess above.  LED lighting in the reflecting pool just outside the window softly illuminates the water at night, creating soft reflections in the interior space.

The dining area has it’s own room that opens out onto an exterior patio with an herb garden, an outdoor kitchen, and a covered cabana with seating.   WILLOWhouse has 4 bedrooms, one of which is located on the first floor, making it easy to use as a media room, a home office, or a private guest suite.  The master bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms are located on the upper level.
